Our client in the energy sector is looking for a skilled Senior Real Estate Project Manager to lead and manage real estate projects from start to finish. The role involves overseeing all aspects of building engineering, from land due diligence to project completion, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery while aligning with the company’s business objectives
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Finance and HR, to align projects with headcount growth and business needs.
- Report regularly to the Regional Real Estate Manager, ensuring alignment with strategic goals for Southern Europe.
Budget Management
- Collaborate with local management to develop and monitor annual CAPEX budgets.
- Ensure proper tracking and control of project expenses throughout the year.
Design and Workplace Management
- Oversee workplace operations to create high-quality environments that reflect the company culture.
- Work with architects, project managers, and contractors to ensure compliance with corporate workplace standards.
Land Acquisition and Leasing
- Manage land acquisition, lease negotiations, and the company’s real estate portfolio.
- Conduct due diligence for new sites, lease renewals, and space consolidation.
Fit-out and Project Delivery
- Manage the full project lifecycle, from defining the scope to execution, ensuring projects stay on time and within budget.
- Lead the design process, including plant layouts and architectural engineering, adhering to construction best practices.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in real estate project management and managing CAPEX/operational budgets.
- Strong project planning and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to work with stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluent in English and German (Spanish or Italian is an advantage).
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing the full lifecycle of real estate projects, from planning to execution.
- Familiarity with tools like Archibus and SAP for portfolio management.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
