We are looking for a proactive and organized Project Coordinator to support a clinical-stage antibiotic drug development team based in Basel, Switzerland. In this role, you will be part of a small team supporting external public-private partnerships in the Infectious Disease Therapeutic Area. You will work closely with cross-functional project teams to ensure contractual obligations are met within a key government-backed program.

- Planned Duration: 12 months (extension very likely)
- Work Location: Basel, Switzerland
- Workload: 100%
- Remote Work: Up to 2 days per week
- Travel: Occasional international travel (approx. once per year)
Key Responsibilities
- Program Support: Ensure project execution aligns with contractual obligations.
- Meeting Participation: Identify relevant project activities and support reporting requirements.
- Project Plan Oversight: Maintain and monitor the project plan for all associated activities.
- Document Management: Coordinate document creation, updates, and distribution.
- Financial Management: Oversee project budget, track study costs, and support financial reporting.
- Reporting Requirements: Assist in preparing technical reports and tracking project deliverables.
- Project Planning: Support teams in assembling project plans and budgets.
- Issue & Risk Monitoring: Identify project risks and support mitigation strategies.
- Communication Management: Work closely with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and expectation management.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field (Mandatory)
- Strong understanding of pre-clinical drug development (Mandatory)
- Experience in infectious disease research (preferred)
- Experience in managing government-funded projects (plus)
- Excellent English communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks
- Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills
- Understanding of pre-clinical and regulatory documentation
- Knowledge of contractual obligations and compliance
