Job Details

For our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical industry, we are looking for a Process Engineer in the Development / Pharmaceutical Technology environment for their Basel site.

 

General Information:

 

  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • Latest Possible Start Date: 01.12.2024
  • End Date: after 1 year
  • Extension: Very likely
  • Workplace: Basel
  • Workload: 100%
  • Home Office: Limited possibility
  • Working Hours: Standard
  • Travel: Occasional (Project-dependent)

 

Tasks & Responsibilities:

 

Efficient and effective processing of orders/projects and operational support according to the relevant processes for providing services:

  • Planning, qualification, and commissioning of pharmaceutical parenteral systems
  • Creation, maintenance, review, and approval of project, plant, qualification, and HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) documentation
  • Implementation and ensuring adherence to state-of-the-art technology and regulatory and internal requirements / guidelines in the areas of HSE and GMP
  • Evaluating, reviewing, and recommending new technologies in the field of parenteral processes
  • Proactively supporting clients in defining and initiating investment projects, including cost estimates and timelines
  • Leading projects and assignments, taking responsibility for technical solutions, costs, and deadlines

 

Must Haves:

  • Technical background with a completed scientific degree (FH/TU), e.g., Process Engineering / Pharmaceutical Engineering or comparable
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in project planning and operational engineering of pharmaceutical systems
  • Solid understanding of GMP and process engineering requirements for process systems and package units in the field of sterile filling of liquid products
  • Willingness to work in an agile, self-organized work environment
  • Very good German skills and good English skills are required
