General Supervisor
Location: Bern
Contract: Permanent

Your Tasks
- Overseeing daily laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with CLIA regulations and state requirements.
- Assisting the Laboratory Director to:
- supervise and manage the laboratory team, providing training and mentoring.
- optimize workflows and maintain rigorous quality control procedures.
- Reviewing data, issue accurate test reports in a timely manner, and manage the LIMS system.
- Resolving technical problems related to test performance.
- Maintaining accurate records of test results, quality control activities, and personnel competency assessments.
- Ensuring the laboratory team follows proper biosafety and infection control protocols.
- Overseeing the proper maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Handling client information confidentially.
- In the absence of the Laboratory Director, managing all laboratory procedures and reporting.
Your Experience
You have:
- a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in a relevant scientific field from an accredited institution is required
- Proficiency in conducting and supervising clinical laboratory tests.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards for diagnostic laboratories.
- Proficiency in using LIMS and various laboratory instruments, and ability to analyze scientific data, identify trends, and implement quality improvements.
- Ability to take initiative, work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in French OR German; English B1 minimum required.
