Job Title: Digitalization Lead – HR

Purpose of the Position
The Digitalization Lead plays a critical role in driving the organization’s digital transformation efforts by bridging business units and technology teams to optimize end-to-end processes and implement unified information systems. Collaborating with key functions such as Finance, Logistics, and HR, the Digitalization Lead focuses on process optimization, system development (including ERP), and driving adoption of digital solutions to align with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Needs Analysis and Process Design

  • Collaborate with business units and process owners to assess current workflows, identify areas for improvement, and gather functional requirements.
  • Translate business needs into detailed specifications for configuring and optimizing unified information systems.
  • Partner with stakeholders to document current processes, design future solutions, and ensure alignment with the organization’s digital transformation strategy.

2. End-to-End Process Optimization

  • Promote process optimization by leveraging automation, reducing redundancies, and enhancing system integration.
  • Conduct impact analyses to ensure feasibility and scalability of process changes.
  • Support implementation of process standards and monitor integration across functions in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Work closely with technology teams to ensure solutions align with the overall digitalization roadmap.

3. Digital Transformation Implementation

  • Co-design and refine cross-functional processes with process owners, focusing on automation and best practices.
  • Develop and test end-to-end processes in test environments to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with project managers, technology teams, and external consultants to ensure successful system delivery.

4. Change Management and User Support

  • Drive change across business functions, supporting teams through transitions to new systems and processes.
  • Assist in the creation of training materials and communication plans to facilitate adoption of digital tools.
  • Gather user feedback to enhance solution usability and adoption rates.

5. Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders to report on process performance, adoption, and user satisfaction.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by sharing insights and refining processes based on feedback.

Desired Profile and Skills

  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills to engage cross-functional teams and ensure process alignment.
  • Proven ability to manage change and foster teamwork in a multicultural and matrixed environment.

Education and Certifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in business process management and modeling (e.g., BPMN, Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Certification in project management (PMP, Prince2 preferred) is a plus.

Experience

  • 12–15 years of professional experience, including 5–7 years in process management, ERP implementation, or digital transformation.
  • Experience in cross-functional environments with knowledge of standard end-to-end processes (e.g., hire-to-retire, procure-to-pay).
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and digital tools with a proven track record in supporting digital transformations.
  • Experience in ERP development and deployment from a business perspective.
  • Exposure to low-tech environments or frugal innovation is a plus.

People Management Responsibilities

  • Influence and align business units and process owners to define and adopt end-to-end processes for digital transformation.
  • May supervise external consultants and business analysts as needed.

Relationships

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment in process design, system configuration, and adoption.
  • Provide ongoing support for change initiatives and monitor feedback to refine solutions and improve process performance.
