For our client, a leading company in the pharmaceutical sector, we are seeking a (Associate) Scientist Cell culture to work with a highly engaged team of neuroscientists, cell biologists, and automation experts using state-of-the-art technologies.

You will be responsible for cultivating and differentiating iPSC also at larger scale and establishing and optimizing assay and screening conditions in close collaboration with automation experts and neuroscientists using immunofluorescence stainings and high content imaging.

  • Workload: 100%

  • Working hours: Standard



Tasks & Responsibilities:
 

  • Differentiation of iPSCs and cell culture experiments.
  • Shaping and evolving an exploratory project to demonstrate the impact of phenotypic drug discovery
  • Nurturing trustful relationships and effective collaboration with internal and external partners.


Must Haves:
 
  • Apprenticeship + 3 years of experience or a Master's degree + 1 year of experience or PhD/equivalent education\
  • Experience in advanced cell culture techniques (including iPSC differentiation and larger scale cell culture)
  • It is advantageous to have  experience in automated screening techniques, and immunofluorescence staining
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus
