For our client, a leading international pharmaceutical company, we are seeking an Operations Administrative Support.

General Information:
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Latest start date: 01.05.2025
  • Duration: 4-5 months with the possibility of extension
  • Workplace: Schachen, Lucerne
  • Workload: 100%
  • Working hours: Standard
  • Department: Manufacturing Operations
  • Home office: possible (from Switzerland)

About the job:

Manufacturing Operations teams are the people that make our products. We work in the manufacturing plants with a “Safety First, Quality Always” mindset striving for continuous improvement. We work in the local plant connected to our global manufacturing network to ensure the highest quality of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.

External Manufacturing provides oversight of the manufacturing activities performed at the Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) and relays all information between the company and the CMO such as: Manufacturing process data, Analytical test results.

“Day in the job”:

3 time per week the day starts at 9:00 CET with a sub-team meeting to discuss ongoing progress and priorities. During a day, the person will work on formatting and preparing the data for transfer. 3 times per week the day will end with a meeting with the broader team (16:00 CET) where the technical aspects of the data transfer will be discussed and the data transfer pipeline will be tested.


Tasks and responsibilities:
 
  • Responsible for providing business support to the enterprise for business analytics.
  • Extract data from a variety of sources and populate a data lake.
  • Perform manual data entry into MDP/Mantis.
  • Data ingestion will require transfer of data from PDF and Excel files.

Must haves:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical or medical device industry preferred)
  • English language skills at C1 level
  • Experience working with batch records
