For one of our clients, an international pharma company based in Kaiseraugst, we are looking for a Laboratory technician (m/f/d) for environmental monitoring in QC microbiology.
The Quality Control Microbiology department in Kaiseraugst is responsible, among other things, for the GMP-compliant microbiological monitoring of the production areas. As a laboratory technician (m/f/d) in the "mEMT Kaiseraugst" group in pharmaceutical quality control, you ensure reliable and efficient microbiological environmental monitoring for our manufacturing customers at the Basel site for the safety of our products and thus for the well-being of patients.
The perfect candidate: As a laboratory technician (m/f/d) in pharmaceutical quality control microbiology in Kaiseraugst, you are responsible for the reliable, efficient and timely execution of the analyses carried out in the laboratory in accordance with "internal regulations" and their documentation in accordance with the current guidelines of good manufacturing practice (cGMP) in order to ensure the safety of our products and thus the well-being of patients.

Tasks & responsibilities:
- Preparation and implementation of sampling of microbiological samples (e.g. airborne germ collections, surface impressions) in the clean rooms.
- Implementation of microbiological and chemical-physical sampling of pure media (e.g. WFI, gases).
- Implementation of filtrations of different water qualities (e.g. WFI, PW).
- Incubation, evaluation and documentation of the results in the LIMS.
- The activities are carried out independently according to general instructions, in compliance with all GMP/SOP and legal regulations.
- Maintain qualified laboratory operations, you ensure both order and cleanliness in the laboratory and the suitability of the test equipment and consumables used.
- If necessary, adaptation of GMP documents (SOPs).
Must Haves:
- Completed training (biology, chemical laboratory technician, chemical/pharmaceutical technologist or comparable) or have corresponding experience in laboratory work in microbiology and experience in the field of microbiological environmental monitoring
- Fluent written and spoken German and knowledge of English
- Able to work carefully and precisely and value teamwork
- Experience with GMP (documentation) and its system
- You are characterized by a careful working method and practical skills
- Very good teamwork skills and willingness to support changes
- Good logical thinking and clear written expression
