About the Role:  

Working remotely As an IAM Engineer for Directory Services, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD environments across our global operations. You will ensure security, availability, and scalability while working closely with cybersecurity, IT operations, and business units to develop access control policies and integrate with cloud and on-premise applications. You'll also ensure compliance with industry standards like GDPR and HIPAA, continuously evaluating and adopting emerging technologies to enhance security and operational efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, deployment, and management of AD and Azure AD environments  

  • Develop and enforce policies for directory services, ensuring compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and internal security standards  

  • Collaborate with Identity Access Management (IAM) teams on seamless integration across IAM tools and services  

  • Automate directory management tasks and streamline domain provisioning  

  • Maintain security and optimize the performance of directory services, including updates and patches  

  • Act as an escalation point for complex directory services issues  

  • Provide technical guidance to the Managed Services team, including training and knowledge transfer  

  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for directory services architecture and policies  

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Extensive experience with Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD administration in large-scale organizations  

  • Strong knowledge of Identity Access Management (IAM) concepts and security best practices  

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python for automation  

  • Experience with Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and IAM-related domains such as Privileged Access Management (PAM) and SSO/MFA  

  • Understanding of compliance requirements like GDPR and HIPAA  

  • Analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex directory services issues  

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams  

  • Ability to stay current with IAM trends and evolving security practices  

 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience  

Experience managing Active Directory from Windows 2008 R2 to Windows 2022  

Microsoft AZ-500: Azure Identity and Security certification  

Business fluent in English
