Are you passionate about technical sales and eager to drive business growth in the energy sector? As a Technical Sales Engineer – Power Systems, you will play a key role in expanding service solutions for power transmission and distribution networks across Switzerland.

Working closely with proposal and execution teams, you will develop tailored solutions and support customers with cutting-edge service offerings. You will report to both the Service Sales Team Lead and the Head of Sales for Power Systems Switzerland.


Your Responsibilities

  • Manage service inquiries and create tailored proposals for power system service solutions, including substation automation, protection & control systems, remote monitoring, telecommunications, battery storage, and software solutions.
  • Drive business development by identifying new market opportunities and customer needs.
  • Support the sales team in preparing and optimizing service proposals.
  • Analyze customer requirements and market trends to enhance service offerings.
  • Oversee bid and tender processes, from initial proposal to contract award.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring long-term business success.
  • Meet order intake targets and contribute to overall sales performance.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.


Your Profile

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; experience with switchgear, automation, or protection systems is a plus.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a structured approach to work.
  • Several years of experience in technical sales within the energy sector.
  • Background in the specified product and system areas is an advantage.
  • Passion for sales and direct customer interaction.
  • Ability to engage and persuade through strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written); French is a plus.
