They are looking for a candidate who has SAP experience and strong collaboration and problem solving skills. It's important to have a strong understanding of E2E supply chain management and systems, with a key focus on warehouse, transportation management and logistics.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and act as a support function to coordinate system, interface or transmission related issues in day-to-day distribution and logistics operations and provide training to the users
- Participate in global projects that aim to improve the overall supply-chain management functions and performance (project support, UAT, system monitoring and housekeeping)
- Provide support and advanced knowledge for specific and clinical distribution related projects
- Performs / manages / facilitates / coordinates different system testing, user acceptance and regression tests for new or changed functionalities in systems and/or respective interfaces.
- Responsible for the "operationalization" of new projects (incl. documentation and training of teams)
- Drives for best practices, standardization and optimization of distribution processes across PTDS, with a focus on lead time, ensuring supply chain and inventory optimization for a scope of 500+ clinical studies and CHF 900 Mio in inventory
- Maintain compliant functionality (e.g. GxP and custom requirements properly reflected in the system configuration) and process standards between the system (e.g. SAP) and the warehouse or transport management system of external logistics service providers
- Supports the system & process chapter strategy in line with the overall distribution strategy, responsible for system and process strategy execution
- Manages interface monitoring and issue management (for both, internal & external partners)
- Responsible for daily operational business continuity (following ITSM standards)
- Identify and drive root cause analysis and process and performance improvements
- Acts as the main contact for IT partners and teams (e.g. second level support functions) and follow-up on corrective or preventive actions
- Manages overall access and role management
- Acts as robotics process automation owner
- Responsible for managing advance analytics and reporting capabilities
- Fosters a learning and collaboration culture within and across the chapters
- Acts as a coach and consultant for the distribution organization to support effective issue resolution and cascading of information to stakeholders, manages escalations
Key Requirements
- Min. Bachelor degree in a technical, business or supply chain field or associated relevant experience
- Strong experience in SAP, especially in the supply chain modules
- Min. 5-7+ years operational experience in (Clinical) Supply Chain / Distribution / Planning incl. experience in ERP IT system and/or ERP deployments
- Experience with IRT and Middleware (e.g. TIBCO)
- Excellent knowledge of clinical supply chain distribution processes, industry best practices, and applicable tools and systems to enable operational excellence
- Strong experience within a project environment with agile methodologies and LEAN/OE experience
- Strong experience in SAP, especially in the supply chain modules
- Excellent language skills in English is a must, German skills would be a plus.
