How am I insured?
Please note that you are insured even after your assignment, as follows:
For accident – SUVA
Closing the insurance gap:
- When your contract ends, or you take unpaid leave, you are still covered for non-occupational accidents for 31 days from your last day of work.
- After 31 days, you are no longer covered for accidents – that can be expensive. That's why it makes sense to close this insurance gap with liability insurance and enjoy up to six additional months (180 days) of coverage.
Be ensured longer in case of an accident
With a liability insurance, the mandatory non-occupational accident insurance is extended:
- If you take out liability insurance with SUVA before the end of the one-month extended coverage period, your non-occupational accident insurance coverage will be extended for up to six additional months.
- nsurance benefits are based on the provisions of the UVG.
-
Who can be insured? (optional)
- Employees who have worked at least 8 hours per week in a company insured with SUVA.
- Attention: in order to be able to take out seamless severance insurance with SUVA, the last day with at least half salary entitlement may not be longer than 31 days ago.
-
