This is a fully remote position working for a major international client here in Switzerland.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Solution Architect Voice, you will design, implement, and optimise global Voice Infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business requirements and enterprise architectural plans. You will lead initiatives involving MS Teams Voice, Skype for Business, Audiocode, Cisco Call Manager, and more, ensuring high availability, compliance, and seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Voice Infrastructure Design and Transition:
Plan and design voice technology solutions, aligning them with enterprise architecture.
Lead the transition from CUCM, Cisco Voice Gateways, and Skype to Teams Voice solutions.
Ensure smooth integration of systems like MS Teams Voice, Audiocode, Cisco Call Manager, Luware, and Attendant Pro.
Operations and Availability:
Maintain efficient operation of Voice and Telephony Services with a focus on high availability.
Implement and document systems to meet compliance and disaster recovery requirements.
Safeguard systems against unauthorised access and maintain robust security measures.
Project Delivery and Innovation:
Deliver projects in accordance with global standards and concepts.
Conduct technology scouting, propose innovative solutions, and run proofs of concept.
Collaborate with vendors to define and implement global IT infrastructure standards.
Incident Resolution and Documentation:
Resolve critical incidents and complex problems with a focus on minimising downtime.
Ensure comprehensive documentation of systems and processes to support operational continuity.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with external outsourcing providers to ensure effective service delivery.
Provide clear communication to stakeholders about project progress and issue resolution.
Qualifications:
Extensive hands-on experience with CUCM, Cisco Voice Gateways, Skype, and Teams Voice solutions.
Proven track record of transitioning legacy voice systems to modern platforms like Teams Voice.
Strong ability to align business requirements with technical solutions.
Experience with disaster recovery planning, compliance, and IT security.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects, liaise with vendors, and drive innovation.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
