For Lonza AG in Visp we are looking for a Safety Officer (m/f/d) 100%. This role is temporary for a minimum of 6 months.

responsibilities:

  • responsible for managing the work permit process, assessing risks and preparing work permits in line with safety regulations.
  • conduct random inspections of work areas to ensure compliance and approve workspaces after tasks are completed.
  • identifying hazards, implementing risk control measures and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • collaboratioin with teams to foster a proactive safety culture and provides safety guidance and training as needed.
