The perfect candidate has training as a biology or animal technician, at least two years of lab experience with rodents, certification in animal handling (Swiss LTK1 or FELASA), and is fluent in English; German is a plus.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Conducting studies for mice, rats and rabbits in the area of toxicology and pharmacokinetic.
The tasks include:
administer test items by various routes (IP, IV, PO, SC)
observation and scoring of clinical signs
taking blood
basic necropsy skills
• Optional: Conduct or assist during surgical procedures including anesthesia and provide pre- and postoperative care
• Collect, document, review and verify data on forms or in electronic data capture systems
• Participate as a team member in study activities at the weekend on a rotational basis
Must Haves:
• Biology or animal technician, comparable training or relevant experience in laboratory work with rodents
• At least 2 years of technical experience as detailed in the essential Tasks & Responsibilities
•Training in animal handling according to Swiss legislation in Animal Welfare (LTK1) or FELASA
• Fluent in English; German is a Plus
