For our client, an international pharma company in Zürich, we are looking for a Global Pricing Manager.

In this role you will be responsible for Global Pricing and Access Strategies and pricing decisions for a portfolio of in-line assets to enable patient access while maximizing the value of products.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop, review, and execute pricing and access strategies for assigned areas.
  • Responsible for ensuring alignment with program and brand strategies to optimize brand value and market access.
  • Collaborate on pricing research with other global functions and assigned countries/regions (as needed).
  • Identify competitive trends, synthesize competitor price information (including biosimilars and generics), and trigger actions as required.
  • Support LCM initiatives incl. LOE strategy to maximize the asset/portfolio value in close partnership with Global, Regional, and country stakeholders.
  • Cultivate a value-based mindset in all stakeholder interactions.
  • Lead operational pricing decisions with senior management whilst maintaining a high level of expertise on critical developments in the pricing environment globally and in key markets
  • Lead International Reference Pricing assessment to support reimbursement and price negotiations decisions globally



Your Profile:
 
  • University degree required, Master’s and/or PhD in Healthcare discipline or Business preferred
  • 8-10 years of pharmaceutical experience with a strong preference of direct experience in international pricing and reimbursement
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in global pricing or market access role required
  • Experience in establishing and managing effective business processes
  • Expertise in pricing and reimbursement policies including knowledge of the global pricing environment and interdependencies of pricing strategies.
  • Strategical leadership in Global Pricing with potential significant business impact.
  • Critical Thinking & Problem Solving: Excellence in complex multi-criterial analysis with variable uncertainties in a dynamic environment.
  • Results: Strong prioritization capabilities, results driven.
  • Business Acumen: Extensive understanding of business processes, able to shape and improve processes.
  • Highly collaborative and cross-functional excellence oriented – recognized leader for pricing activities across Global, Regional and Country teams.
  • Ensures timely engagement and alignment of key stakeholders and Senior Leadership endorsement of key pricing decisions.
